This homeowner in Taunton, MA reached out to us looking for a reliable waterproofing system for their unfinished basement. After every heavy rainfall, their basement would flood, especially in the bulkhead entryway area. Our inspector, Steve, went out to the home to assess the basement's water issues and he drew up a solution for it. On installation day, our foreman, Melvin, and his crew started by installing our CleanSpace vapor barrier along the walls to corral seepage into the WaterGuard drainage system which was installed along the floor's perimeter for collecting groundwater. Our TrenchDrain grated basement drain was installed in two areas of the bulkhead entry to catch surface water, it's connected to the WaterGuard drainage system. They also installed our SaniDry XP dehumidifier to control the moisture in the air and it drains itself into the SuperSump Plus sump pump. The SuperSump Plus sends all of the water out of the basement through a discharge line. On the home's exterior, the IceGuard discharge line system prevents flooding if the discharge line ever clogs or freezes. Now the homeowner can have peace of mind next time it rains!
