This homeowner in Marion, MA reached out to us because their unfinished basement had water puddling on the floor after heavy rainfalls. Our inspector, Trevor, went out to the home and drew up a solution for the basement's water issues. On installation day, Foreman Melvin and his crew started by installing our CleanSpace vapor barrier along each wall to direct seepage into the WaterGuard drainage system which was installed along the floor's perimeter to collect groundwater. Our TrenchDrain grated basement drain was installed in front of the basement door that leads outside to catch surface water and it's connected to the WaterGuard drainage system. All of that water is then channeled into the SuperSump Plus sump pump which sends the collected water out of the basement through the discharge line. The crew also set up our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to control humidity in the basement year-round. On the home's exterior, the IceGuard discharge line system was set up to prevent water from flooding back into the basement if the line ever gets clogged or freezes. Now the homeowner can rest easy during the next rainstorm.
