Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Sagamore Beach, MA Basement Waterproofing
This homeowner in Sagamore Beach, MA reached out to us because they were wanting to finish their basement but it was taking on water after heavy rainfalls. Our inspector, Rick, went out to the home and drew up a solution that would keep the basement dry going forward. Our crew started by installing our CleanSpace vapor barrier seamlessly along each wall to direct seepage into the WaterGuard drainage system which was installed along the floor's perimeter to collect groundwater. Our TrenchDrain grated basement drain was installed around the utilities that are located in the basement, it's connected to the WaterGuard drainage system. The crew also set up our SaniDry XP dehumidifier to control humidity. The water collected in the drainage system and dehumidifier is channeled into the TripleSafe sump pump which sends it out of the basement through two discharge lines. On the home's exterior, the IceGuard discharge line system was set up to prevent flooding if a discharge line ever clogs or freezes. Now the homeowner can have their basement finished feeling confident that it'll stay dry!
CleanSpace Wall System
CleanSpace is a strong vapor barrier that directs seepage into the WaterGuard drainage system.
WaterGuard Drainage System & WaterGuard Port
WaterGuard is installed along the perimeter of the basement floor and covered in fresh concrete to provide a seamless finished look. The WaterGuard Port is left visible to provide access to the system when needed.
TrenchDrain, SaniDry XP, & TripleSafe
TrenchDrain was installed around the utilities in the basement to protect them by catching surface water. It is connected to the WaterGuard drainage system. The SaniDry XP (to the right) keeps the humidity in the air of the basement low and drains itself into the sump pump. The TripleSafe sump pump takes all of the collected water and sends it out of the home through the discharge lines.

IceGuard prevents flooding in the event of a clogged or frozen discharge line.
