This homeowner in Dedham, MA gave us a call inquiring about having a reliable waterproofing system installed in their basement. Our inspector, David, went out to the home to assess the basement and he drew up a waterproofing solution for it. On installation day, our foreman, Riley, and his crew first installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier along each wall to direct seepage into the WaterGuard drainage system which was installed along the floor's entire perimeter for collecting groundwater. They put our TrenchDrain grated basement drain on the inside of the basement door to catch surface water and it's connected to the WaterGuard drainage system. That water is all sent into the TripleSafe sump pump which pumps it out of the basement through two discharge lines. On the home's exterior, the IceGuard discharge line system was set up to prevent water from flooding if a discharge line ever gets clogged or freezes.
