Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Fixing a Wet Basement in Westerly, RI
This homeowner in Westerly, RI gave us a call because they were often finding puddles on their basement floor and it constantly felt pretty damp. Our inspector, Trevor, went out to the home to assess the basement and he drew up a solution. On installation day, our foreman, Kervin, and his crew started by installing our CleanSpace vapor barrier seamlessly along each wall to direct seepage into the WaterGuard drainage system which was installed along the floor's entire perimeter to catch groundwater. They also set up our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier in the basement to control the humidity. The water collected in the drainage system and dehumidifier is channeled into the TripleSafe sump pump which sends all of the water out through the two discharge lines. On the outside of the house, the IceGuard discharge line system was set up to prevent flooding if a discharge line ever clogs or freezes. Now the homeowner won't have to worry about finding puddles in their basement after it rains!

WaterGuard Drainage System & WaterGuard Port
WaterGuard is installed along the perimeter of the basement floor and covered in fresh concrete to provide a seamless finished look. The WaterGuard Port is left visible to provide access to the system when needed.
The SaniDry Sedona keeps the humidity in the air of the basement low and drains itself into the TripleSafe sump pump. The TripleSafe takes all of the collected water and sends it out of the home through the discharge lines.
