This homeowner in Slatersville, RI gave us a call because their basement was often taking on water and since they use the space for storage and have utilities located in the basement, they needed a reliable solution. Our inspector, James, went out to the home and drew up a waterproofing plan. On installation day, our foreman, Riley, and his crew installed or CleanSpace vapor barrier along the wall to direct seepage into the WaterGuard drainage system which was installed along the floor's perimeter. Our TrenchDrain grated basement drain was installed around the utilities catch surface water, it's connected to the WaterGuard drainage system. That water is then channeled into the TripleSafe sump pump which sends the collected water out of the basement through two discharge lines. On the outside of the home, the IceGuard discharge line system was set up to prevent flooding if a discharge line ever gets clogged or freezes in the winter. Now the homeowner can feel confident that water will no longer get into their basement.
