This homeowner in South Weymouth, MA reached out to us because their finished basement's floor was constantly pretty damp. Our inspector, Mike, went out to the home to assess the basement and he drew up a solution. On installation day, Foreman Kervin and his crew installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier along each basement wall to corral seepage into our WaterGuard drainage system which was installed along the floor's perimeter for the groundwater. Our TrenchDrain grated basement drain was installed around the basement's utilities to protect them from water damage by catching surface water, it's connected to the WaterGuard drainage system. All of that water is then channeled into the SuperSump Plus sump pump which sends it out of the basement through a discharge line. On the home's exterior, our IceGuard discharge line system was set up to prevent water from flooding back into the basement if the discharge line ever gets clogged or freezes. Now the homeowner can refinish their basement with no more worries about water!
