Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Waterproofing a Basement in Upton, MA
The owners of this home in Upton, MA reached out for assistance on their basement that was experiencing dampness and leaking from the fieldstone foundation walls. Our inspector educated them on the different ways we could help, especially with plans to do some finishing work, and they were excited to get this project started! Our crews added WaterGuard pipe and CleanSpace Wall vapor barrier around the interior perimeter of the basement. The two work together to collect any water seeping in from the wall or foundation seam, and directs it to the SuperSump Plus sump pump system for removal from the basement. For the humid air, a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier will absorb the moisture and assist in drying out the space, creating an overall healthier basement for this home!
Sump & Dehumidifier
The SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier drains right into the SuperSump Plus sump pump, so no need to empty buckets of water every day!
Drainage Options
WaterGuard sits mostly hidden to collect water around the seam, while TrenchDrain is ideal for entryways as is more exposed and collects water from above.
Fieldstone Foundation Walls
The walls have CleanSpace Wall to create a vapor barrier, protecting the basement from wall water seepage.
