Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Great Barrington, MA Basement Waterproofing
This homeowner in Great Barrington, MA was finding water in their basement where the floor and walls meet. During the free estimate, our inspector, Dave, drew up a plan to waterproof the basement and shared it with the homeowner. With a thorough understanding of Dave's solution, they were happy to move forward with having their basement become completely waterproofed. On installation day, our foreman, Shawn, and his crew got to work. They installed our CleanSpace Wall System half way up each wall to act as a vapor barrier. Along the entire perimeter of the basement floor, they installed our WaterGuard drainage system. In front of the basement door that leads outside, they put our TrenchDrain grated basement drain to catch excess water and connected it to the drainage system. The water trying to get into the basement will enter into the drainage system and be channeled into the SuperSump Plus sump pump, which the crew installed in the lowest part of the basement. On the outside of the home, the crew set up our IceGuard discharge line system to prevent flooding from a clogged or frozen discharge line. Now the homeowner doesn't have to worry about finding water in their basement any longer!
