Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Pawtucket, RI Wet Basement Solutions
This homeowner in Pawtucket, RI gave us a call because their basement would get water during heavy rainfalls. When our inspector, Mike, went to the home to take a look at the basement, he shared a solution with the homeowner. On installation day, our foreman, Kervin, and his crew were ready to completely waterproof this basement. They started by installing our CleanSpace Wall System, which fits seamlessly along the basement walls to act as a vapor barrier against water that is trying to permeate the walls. Next, they installed our WaterGuard drainage system along the entire perimeter of the basement floor and the TrenchDrain grated basement drain was placed in front of the door that leads outside. The TrenchDrain collects excess water and is connected to the WaterGuard. In the lowest point of the basement floor, the crew installed our SuperSump Plus sump pump which will take the water that is collected by the WaterGuard and TrenchDrain and send it out of the basement through the discharge line. On the home's exterior, the IceGuard discharge line system was set up to prevent flooding if the discharge line were to ever clog or freeze. This homeowner now has peace of mind knowing that their basement will be protected from water next time it rains.
