This homeowner in Smithfield, RI reached out to us because water was entering their basement in multiple areas. When our inspector, Benny, went to the home to assess the basement, he drew up a plan that would solve all of the water issues it had. On installation day, Foreman Lucio and his crew got to work with waterproofing the entire basement. They installed our WaterGuard drainage system along the entire perimeter of the basement floor. They carefully placed the drainage system around the oil tank and installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier beneath the tank to fully protect it from water. In front of the basement door that leads outside and around the furnace, they installed our TrenchDrain grated basement drain to catch excess water and connected it to the WaterGuard. The crew also set up our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to keep humidity low and in the basement's lowest point, they installed our TripleSafe sump pump to send all of the collected water out of the basement through the discharge lines. The IceGuard discharge line system was installed on the outside of the home to prevent flooding from a clogged or frozen line. The homeowner can now rest easy knowing their basement is completely waterproof!
