This homeowner in Coventry, RI reached out to us because their existing sump pump wasn't keeping their basement dry. During the free estimate, our inspector, Nick, drew up a solution to make sure the basement would be completely waterproof and stay dry all the time. On installation day, Foreman Kervin and his crew started by installing our CleanSpace Wall System along the basement walls and beneath the oil tank to act as a vapor barrier. Along the perimeter of the floor and around the oil tank, the crew installed our WaterGuard drainage system. At the base of the stairs that lead outside, they installed our TrenchDrain grated basement drain to catch excess water. The WaterGuard and TrenchDrain are connected and drain into the TripleSafe sump pump. Our crew removed the existing sump pump and replaced it with our TripleSafe. They also set up our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to keep humidity in the basement low, the SaniDry Sedona also drains into the TripleSafe. The TripleSafe takes all of the water and sends it out the basement through the discharge lines which are protected by IceGuard. IceGuard prevents flooding from clogged or frozen discharge lines. At the end of the discharge line system is our LawnScape Outlet which lets out the water away from the home. This homeowner is now able to rest easy knowing their basement will be staying dry all of the time!
