This homeowner in New Bedford, MA reached out to us because their basement was very humid and had water entering in through the foundation. Our inspector, Michelle, visited the home during the free estimate to take a look at the basement and find a solution. On installation day, Foreman MJ and his crew were ready to make the solution a reality! They installed our CleanSpace Wall System seamlessly along the basement walls and underneath the oil tanks. CleanSpace is a strong vapor barrier. Along the perimeter of the basement floor and around the oil tanks, the crew carefully installed our WaterGuard drainage system which collects any water that tries to enter the basement and channels it into the TripleSafe sump pump. The SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier was also set up in the basement to control humidity and it drains into the TripleSafe as well. The TripleSafe sump pump, which the crew installed in the lowest point of the basement, takes all of the water and sends it out of the basement through the discharge lines. The IceGuard discharge line system prevents flooding if there were ever a clogged or frozen discharge line.
