Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Cranston, RI Wet Basement Solutions
This homeowner in Cranston, RI gave us a call because there was a significant amount of water entering their basement. Our inspector, James, visited the home and drew up a solution that would keep the basement dry. Our foreman, Riley, and his crew got to work on installation day. They started by installing our WaterGuard drainage system around the perimeter of the basement floor. This basement has an oil tank so it was important for the crew to be mindful of this. Beneath the oil tank they put a piece of our CleanSpace vapor barrier and installed the WaterGuard around it to protect it from water damage. At the base of the stairway leading outside, they installed our TrenchDrain grated basement drain to collect excess water. The TrenchDrain connects to the WaterGuard and both of them channel water into the sump pump system. The crew installed our TripleSafe sump pump in the lowest point of the basement. They also set up our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to keep humidity low and it also drains into the TripleSafe. The TripleSafe then takes all of that water and sends it out of the basement through the discharge lines. The IceGuard discharge line system is installed on the outside of the home to further protect the basement from flooding in the event of a clogged or frozen discharge line. With our products working together, the homeowner can enjoy having peace of mind when it comes to their basement!
