Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Basement Waterproofing in Gardner, MA
This homeowner in Gardner, MA gave us a call about their basement that was taking on groundwater through the floor. Craig, one of our inspectors, visited the home to take a look at the basement and drew up a plan that would keep it dry. On installation day, Lucio, one of our foremen, and his crew started waterproofing the basement with installing our WaterGuard drainage system around the perimeter of the basement floor. They carefully weaved the WaterGuard around the oil tank as well to protect it from water damage. In front of the basement door that leads outside, the crew put our TrenchDrain grated basement drain to catch excess surface water. The TrenchDrain and WaterGuard are connected and act as a tunnel that sends the groundwater into the TripleSafe sump pump. The TripleSafe takes all of the collected water and sends it out of the basement through two discharge lines. IceGuard was installed on the outside of the home to prevent water from flooding back into the home if a line ever clogged or froze. The homeowner can now rest easy knowing their basement will be staying dry from now on!
WaterGuard Drainage System & WaterGuard Port
WaterGuard is installed along the floor's perimeter and covered in fresh concrete. The WaterGuard Port is left visible to provide access to the system.
TrenchDrain was installed in front of the door that leads outside (on the left) to collect surface water. Beneath the oil tank, the crew installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier to keep the area dry.
SaniDry XP Dehumidifier & TripleSafe Sump Pump
The SaniDry XP keeps humidity in the basement low and drains itself into the TripleSafe which sends water out of the basement through the discharge lines.
IceGuard Discharge Line System
IceGuard prevents water from flooding back into the basement if a discharge line ever clogs or freezes.
