A homeowner in Needham, MA decided to call us because their home was occasionally taking on water and was also quite humid during the summer months, but their standard dehumidifier wasn't doing the trick. Our crew set up our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier in the basement to get the humidity down and keep it under control. The SaniDry Sedona is the most energy efficient, commercial grade dehumidifier on the market. The water collected in the dehumidifier is sent into the TripleSafe sump pump which was installed in the basement floor's lowest point. The TripleSafe sends all of the collected water out of the basement through the two discharge lines. On the outside of the home, the IceGuard discharge line system was set up to prevent water from flooding back into the basement if a discharge line ever clogs or freezes. Also outside of the home, the RainChute EZ downspout extension was installed to direct downspout water away from the home's foundation.
