Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Princeton, MA Wet Basement Solutions
This homeowner in Princeton, MA reached out to us about their leaky basement and we were happy to help. One of our inspectors, Nick, went to the home to draw up a solution for the basement and shared it with the homeowner. On installation day, Foreman Tomas and his crew got to work with waterproofing the basement! They started by installing our CleanSpace vapor barrier along each wall to corral the water permeating the wall into the WaterGuard drainage system which was installed along the floor's perimeter collecting the groundwater. Our TrenchDrain grated basement drain was installed carefully around the furnace to protect it from surface water, it's connected to the WaterGuard drainage system. All of that water is then channeled into the TripleSafe sump pump. The TripleSafe sends all of the collected water out of the basement through two discharge lines. On the outside of the home, the IceGuard discharge line system was set up to prevent water from flooding back into the basement if the discharge line ever gets clogged or freezes in the winter. The homeowner can now have peace of mind with DryZone's products in place!
CleanSpace Wall System & WaterGuard Drainage System
CleanSpace is a strong vapor barrier that protects the basement walls from water damage and directs any water it encounters into the WaterGuard drainage system. WaterGuard is installed along the perimeter of the basement floor and covered in fresh concrete to provide a seamless finished look. The WaterGuard Port is left visible to provide access to the system when needed.
