Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Basement Waterproofing in Hopkinton, MA

This homeowner in Hopkinton, MA reached out to us because they were not only dealing with water issues in their basement, but they also had some structural issues as well. Our inspector, Dave, visited the home and drew up a solution that would cover all of the bases. Our foreman, Lucio, and his crew started with the waterproofing on installation day. They installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier seamlessly along each wall to corral any water permeating the wall into the WaterGuard drainage system which was installed along the floor's entire perimeter to collect groundwater. At the base of the bulkhead stairs, the put our TrenchDrain grated basement drain to collect surface water. The WaterGuard and TrenchDrain are connected and drain into the sump pump. They also set up our SaniDry XP dehumidifier in the basement to control the humidity and it drains itself into the TripleSafe sump pump which sends all of the collected water out of the basement through two discharge lines. On the outside of the home, the IceGuard discharge line system was set up to prevent water from flooding back into the basement if the discharge line ever clogs or freezes. To fix the structural issues, the crew installed our SmartJack Stabilizers which are strong beams made of galvanized steel so they don't deteriorate over time. SmartJacks can also be adjusted to reverse any floor sloping that has already occurred above the basement. The homeowner is so happy that they gave us a call!
