Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Cumberland, RI Basement Waterproofing
This homeowner in Cumberland, RI gave us a call because their basement would have water issues any time there was heavy rainfall. Our inspector, Andy, went to the home during the free estimate appointment and drew up a solution that would keep water out of the basement going forward. On installation day, our crew first installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier along each wall to corral water permeating the walls into the WaterGuard drainage system which was installed along the floor's perimeter collecting groundwater. Our TrenchDrain grated basement drain was installed in front of the basement door that leads outside to catch surface water, it is connected to the WaterGuard drainage system. All of that water is then channeled into the TripleSafe sump pump. The TripleSafe then sends all of that water out of the basement through two discharge lines. Lastly, the IceGuard discharge line system was set up on the outside of the home to prevent water from flooding back into the basement if the discharge lines ever get clogged or freeze in the winter. Now the homeowner doesn't have to worry during the next storm!
