Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Total Basement Waterproofing in Pascoag, RI
This homeowner in Pascoag, RI gave us a call because their home that was built in 1911 has been getting water every time it rained heavily. Our sales inspector, Mike, went to the home to take a look at the basement and drew up a solution. The basement spanned a pretty large area, so his plan involved removing the existing sump pump that had failed and replacing it with two of our TripleSafe sump pumps, each on opposite sides of the basement. Our foreman, Riley, and his crew arrived on installation day ready to waterproof the entire basement. They started by installing our CleanSpace wall system along each wall to act as a vapor barrier and corral water into the WaterGuard drainage system which was installed along the entirety of the floor's perimeter. Then they installed both of the TripleSafe sump pumps, one on each end of the basement about 50 feet away from each other. Lastly, the crew set up our SaniDry XP dehumidifier to control the humidity in the basement, it automatically drains itself into one of the sump pumps. The homeowner is really happy they called DryZone because now they can feel confident that their basement is completely waterproof!
CleanSpace Wall System
CleanSpace is a strong vapor barrier that protects the basement walls from water damage and directs any water it encounters into the WaterGuard drainage system.
WaterGuard Drainage System & WaterGuard Port
WaterGuard is installed along the perimeter of the basement floor and covered in fresh concrete to provide a seamless finished look. The WaterGuard Port is left visible to provide access to the system when needed.
TripleSafe Sump Pump #1
The TripleSafe takes all of the water it collects and sends it out of the home through the discharge lines.
TripleSafe Sump Pump #2 & SaniDry XP Dehumidifier
The second TripleSafe in the basement is also connected to the SaniDry XP dehumidifier to allow it to drain itself into the sump pump.
