This homeowner in Braintree, MA gave us a call because their basement was getting water during every heavy rainfall. Our inspector, Trevor, went to the home to assess the water issues in the basement and provide a free estimate. On installation day, our crew started waterproofing the basement by installing our CleanSpace vapor barrier seamlessly along the fieldstone walls to corral water permeating the wall into the WaterGuard drainage system which was installed along the floor's perimeter to collect groundwater. They also set up our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier in the basement to control the humidity and it even drains itself! The water collected in the drainage system is channeled into the SuperSump Plus sump pump which sends all of the collected water out of the basement through a discharge line. On the outside of the home, the IceGuard discharge line system was set up to prevent water from flooding back into the basement if the discharge line ever clogs or freezes. Now the homeowner can have nothing but peace of mind during the next rainfall.
