A homeowner in Dudley, MA gave us a call when water started making its way into their basement after they had some work done in the yard. Our inspector, Andy, took a look at what was going on in the basement and drew up a plan. On installation day, our foreman, Julius, and his crew first installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier where the wall meets the floor to direct any water from the lower wall into the WaterGuard drainage system which was installed along the floor's perimeter to handle all the groundwater. All of that water is then channeled into the sump pump system. Our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier was also set up to control humidity and it drains itself into the sump pump as well. The SuperSump Plus sends all of the collected water out of the basement through the discharge line. On the outside of the home, the IceGuard discharge line system was set up to prevent water from flooding back into the basement if the discharge line ever gets clogged or freezes in the winter. Now the homeowner doesn't have to worry about water issues in their basement again.
CleanSpace Vapor Barrier & WaterGuard Drainage System
The CleanSpace vapor barrier was installed where the walls meet the floor of the basement to direct water into the drainage system. The WaterGuard drainage system was installed in the basement floor to collect the groundwater.
SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier & SuperSump Plus Sump Pump
The SaniDry Sedona keeps the humidity in the air of the basement low and drains itself into the sump pump. The SuperSump Plus takes all of the collected water and sends it out of the home through the discharge line.
IceGuard Discharge Line System
The IceGuard discharge line system is installed on the outside of the home and prevents flooding in the event of a clogged or frozen discharge line.
