A homeowner in Douglas, MA gave us a call because they were dealing with water in their basement after every heavy rainfall. Our inspector drew up a solution after assessing the basement and on installation day our crew got to work! They started waterproofing the basement with installing our WaterGuard drainage system around the floor's perimeter to collect groundwater. On the inside of the basement doorway, the crew installed our TrenchDrain grated basement drain to collect surface water and it is connected to the WaterGuard drainage system. That water is then sent into our SuperSump Plus sump pump which sends it all out of the home through the discharge line. The IceGuard discharge line system was set up on the outside of the home to prevent flooding in the event of a clogged or frozen line. Now the homeowner can have peace of mind the next time it pours!
WaterGuard Drainage System & TrenchDrain Grated Basement Drain
WaterGuard is installed along the perimeter of the basement floor and covered in fresh concrete to provide a seamless finished look. TrenchDrain is installed in front of the basement doorway to catch excess and surface water. It is connected to the WaterGuard drainage system.
SuperSump Plus Sump Pump
The SuperSump Plus takes all of the collected water and sends it out of the home through the discharge line.
IceGuard Discharge Line System
The IceGuard discharge line system is installed on the outside of the home and prevents flooding in the event of a clogged or frozen discharge line.
