This homeowner in Shutesbury, MA reached out to us because their basement was taking on water. Our inspector, Dave, went to the home and drew up a solution to waterproof the basement. On installation day, our foreman, Lucio, and his crew first installed our WaterGuard drainage system which was installed along the floor's perimeter to collect groundwater. Our TrenchDrain grated basement drain was then installed in front of the basement doors that leads outside to catch surface water, and it is connected to the WaterGuard drainage system. All of that water is then channeled into the TripleSafe sump pump. The TripleSafe sends all of the collected water out of the basement through the discharge lines. On the outside of the home, the IceGuard discharge line system was set up to prevent water from flooding back into the basement if the discharge line ever gets clogged or freezes in the winter. Now the homeowner doesn't have to worry about finding water in their basement again!
