This homeowner in Norwell, MA knows our inspector, Mike, so when they found water in their basement they gave him a call. Mike went out to the home and drew up a solution to completely waterproof the basement. On installation day, our crew installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier along each basement wall to corral seepage into the WaterGuard drainage system which was installed along the floor's entire perimeter to collect groundwater. Our TrenchDrain grated basement drain was installed in front of the basement door that leads outside to catch surface water, it's connected to the WaterGuard drainage system. That water is then channeled into the TripleSafe sump pump which then sends it out of the basement through the two discharge lines. On the exterior of the home, the IceGuard discharge line system was installed to prevent water from flooding back into the basement if a discharge line ever gets clogged or freezes. Now the homeowner no longer has to worry about finding water in their basement!
