Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Providence, RI Unfinished Basement Waterproofing
This homeowner in Providence, RI gave us a call because they were dealing with water getting into their unfinished basement. Our inspector, Steve, went out to the home and drew up a solution for the water issues. On installation day, Foreman Melvin and his crew started by installing our CleanSpace vapor barrier along the wall to direct seepage into the WaterGuard drainage system which was installed along the floor's perimeter to collect groundwater. All of that water is then channeled into the SuperSump Plus sump pump. The SuperSump Plus sends all of the collected water out of the basement through the discharge line. On the outside of the home, the IceGuard discharge line system was set up to prevent water from flooding back into the basement if the discharge line ever gets clogged or freezes. Now the homeowner can feel confident that they'll no longer be finding water in their basement.
