This homeowner in Wakefield, RI reached out to us looking for encapsulation options for their crawl space. Our inspector, Michael, went to the home to assess the space and draw up a solution. On installation day, Foreman MJ and his crew first laid down our drainage matting over the dirt floor of the crawl space to allow water to flow under and out rather than pool inside. Then the crew fully encapsulated the crawl space with our CleanSpace vapor barrier. The CleanSpace seals out moisture from entering the crawl space through the walls and floor. Now the homeowner can feel confident about the conditions of their crawl space!

When this homeowner went to investigate a pipe leak in their crawl space in Wakefield, RI, they found some rot and overall moisture concerns that they needed addressed ASAP! Moisture in a crawl space is nothing to breeze over, it can lead to mold and rot, and since the bottom of your home holds a lot of the structural components of your home, it can cause some serious problems! The window well on this South Kingstown, RI basement window was filling with water during heavy rains, which would then leak into the basement, leaving puddles behind since there was no waterproofing solution in place. Window wells are not an efficient waterproofing solution, but a sturdy window well with a waterproofed basement can make a great pair! In this home, our team upgraded the broken well to our SunHouse window well, which would keep out debris and a lot more water compared to the old one. They also installed a WellDuct drain so that if any water leaks through, it would be enclosed in the drain and go into the WaterGuard piping and TripleSafe sump pump in the basement for removal!

In this North Providence, RI home, the simple sump pump in a hole was not working out for the owners and they needed something more professional with a backup. We sent an inspector out and they got a good look at the current sump and wrote up a proposal for a new and improved system, including the UltraSump battery backup pump. This pump is combined with another pump and goes in the liner if the power goes out or the pump can’t keep up with the water then the backup pump will kick on and help combat the water intake. We highly recommend the backups and many of our customers are very happy with the comfort of having one with their system.

One of the products used was Waterguard, a drainage system that collects water while under the floor’s surface and is connected to the sump pump. By having the system under the floor, it can catch water from the seam and also is almost invisible to the homeowner, a definite plus to this system.
