Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

A homeowner located in Hyannis, MA needed a sump pump for his basement because he started to see puddles of water after rainstorms. The best way we were able to solve this was to jackhammer a hole at the lowest point in the basement and installed our TripleSafe sump pump! 

After numerous storms hit Yarmouth, MA this homeowner took it into his own hands to install sump pumps for some temporary relief but needed a better solution that would hold up through future storms. A DryZone inspector went to check out his work and talked to him more about our products that could improve his setup and offer more reassurance his basement would stay dry. Around the perimeter we installed Waterguard to collect any water coming in from any edge of the basement. Along with a SuperSump, a TripleSafe sump pump was installed in place of his old system. The TripleSafe was a sure addition to the basement because of its backup battery powered pump system that would power on in the case of a power outage or if the other pumps need more help. Especially with all the recent storms, that backup gave the homeowner a huge feeling of security.

The primitive sump pump liner that was used in this West Yarmouth crawlspace was made of a five gallon bucket with holes drilled in the sides. This is a common set up that our inspectors see every day. This does nothing for the moisture in the crawlspace. We upgraded the system to a TripleSafe sump pump with a closed lid. 

Cinder block walls are made of porous concrete. This lets moisture seep in and makes your crawlspace constantly damp. 60% of the air in your home is coming from below grade so our suggestion is to encapsulate to seal the earth from your home and use spray foam to air seal the rim joists.
