Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

Our crew started by seamlessly installing our CleanSpace vapor barrier along the basement walls. Around the perimeter of the basement floor, they installed our WaterGuard drainage system and covered it in fresh concrete. Our TrenchDrain grated basement drain was installed at the base of the stairs to collect excess water and is connected to the WaterGuard. Our TripleSafe sump pump was also installed, which takes the water collected in the drainage system and sends it out of the basement through the discharge lines. The crew set up the IceGuard discharge line system outside of the home to prevent flooding from a clogged or frozen line. Now the homeowner can rest easy knowing their basement is completely waterproof!

On installation day, our crew, lead by Foreman Lucio, started waterproofing the basement by installing our TrenchDrain grated basement drain on the inside of the bulkhead door. The contractor explained to Mike that water was entering mostly through the bulkhead door, so the TrenchDrain will collect that water and filter it into the sump pump. As seen in the "After" picture, the TrenchDrain is a subtle but effective addition to the basement. To the right of the door, our crew installed our SuperSump Plus sump pump which sends all of the collected surface and ground water out of the basement. On the outside of the home, the IceGuard discharge line system was installed to prevent flooding in case the discharge line ever gets clogged or freezes.
