Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

A contractor in Cumberland, RI reached out to us when they were working on a client's home and noticed the basement had issues with water leaking into it. Our inspector, Mike, met the contractor at the home and drew up a solution during the free estimate appointment. On installation day, our crew, lead by Foreman Lucio, started waterproofing the basement by installing our TrenchDrain grated basement drain on the inside of the bulkhead door. The contractor explained to Mike that water was entering mostly through the bulkhead door, so the TrenchDrain will collect that water and filter it into the sump pump. As seen in the "After" picture, the TrenchDrain is a subtle but effective addition to the basement. To the right of the door, our crew installed our SuperSump Plus sump pump which sends all of the collected surface and ground water out of the basement. On the outside of the home, the IceGuard discharge line system was installed to prevent flooding in case the discharge line ever gets clogged or freezes.
