Crawl Space Encapsulation in Quincy, MA

This homeowner in Quincy, MA gave us a call because the first floor in their home was cold due to their crawl space. The crawl space was previously insulated with fiberglass insulation which was covered in wooden boards along the ceiling as seen in the 'before' picture. On installation day, our crew removed the fiberglass and wooden boards from the ceiling and then insulated the walls of the crawl space with our SilverGlo insulation, which is much better at regulating temperature. They also encapsulated the crawl space with our CleanSpace vapor barrier which seals it off from outside harm like water. Over the vents of the crawl space, the crew installed our CleanSpace vent covers and over the door, our Everlast Door. Having the crawl space properly insulated and sealed off from the outside weather will keep the temperature of the home regulated and the homeowner will no longer be feeling cold because of their crawl space!
