Basement Waterproofing & Crawl Space Encapsulation in Jamestown, RI

Challenge

Homeowners in Jamestown, RI reached out to us looking to find solutions for their basement and crawl space. Their basement was taking on water due to the water table in their area being high. Their crawl space was very moist and was being negatively impacted by the humid weather. Andy, one of our inspectors, went to the home to take a look at both the basement and crawl space. He drew up a solution that would solve the issues that the basement was experiencing with water as well as the crawlspace's temperature regulation issues. After Andy shared the free estimate with the homeowners, they couldn't wait for installation day to come!

Solution

Our foreman, Kervin, and his crew arrived on installation day ready to bring Andy's plan to life! To waterproof the basement, they started by installing our WaterGuard drainage system around the perimeter of the basement floor. They also installed our SuperSump Plus to send all of the collected water out of the home through the discharge line. The IceGuard discharge line system was installed on the outside of the home to prevent water from flooding back in if the discharge line ever clogged or froze. To regulate the temperature of the crawl space, our crew insulated the ground with our TerraBlock insulation and the walls with our SilverGlo insulation. Then they fully encapsulated the crawl space with our CleanSpace vapor barrier. With the basement and crawl space issues resolved, the homeowners can now have peace of mind knowing both areas are protected by DryZone!
