Encapsulation and Waterproofing in Bristol, RI

Challenge

This homeowner in Bristol, RI gave us a call looking for solutions for two different parts of their home. Their crawl space was humid, musty, and they were concerned about mold starting to grow in these conditions. In their basement, they had an existing sump pump but it wasn't work properly during heavy rainfall. Our inspector, Mike, assessed the lower level of the home and drew up solutions for both areas.

Solution

On installation day, our foreman, Lucio, and his crew started with the crawl space. They sprayed our Mold-X2 spray in the space to clean any existing mold and prevent new spores from growing. Then they fully encapsulated the crawl space with our CleanSpace vapor barrier which seals it off from being effected by outdoor conditions. In the basement, the crew replace the failing sump pump with our TripleSafe sump pump. The TripleSafe has three lines of defense against water which include a primary pump, secondary pump, and battery backup system. Now the homeowner can rest easy knowing their crawl space and basement are both protected!
