Basement Waterproofing & Crawl Space Repair in South Boston, MA
Challenge
This customer gave us a call while they were in the process of building their home in South Boston, MA. They planned to have a finished basement, but wanted to make sure the foundation would be completely waterproof before doing so. There was also a small crawl space area attached to one side of the basement that the homeowner was looking to have encapsulated. Our inspector went to the property to draw up a plan to waterproof the basement and encapsulate the crawl space during the building process.
Solution
On installation day, our crew got to work! They lined the basement walls with our CleanSpace wall system to direct seepage into the WaterGuard drainage system that they installed in the basement floor. That collected water is sent into our SuperSump Plus sump pump which then sends it all out of the home through a discharge line. The crew also encapsulated the crawl space with our CleanSpace vapor barrier to keep it dry and clean. Now the homeowner can continue their project with confidence knowing the basement and crawl space are protected by DryZone!
