Crawl Space Repair Project in Wareham, MA

Challenge

This homeowner in Wareham, MA reached out to us looking for encapsulation as well as support options for their crawl space. The crawl space beneath their home was constantly damp due to water damage and this was causing the wooden support beams in the space to rot and weaken. Our inspector, Steve, went to the home to assess the space and drew up a solution that would combat the water issues as well as add support to the home's foundation.

Solution

On installation day, our foreman, Damien, and his crew arrived ready to fix this crawl space! They fully encapsulated the crawl space with our CleanSpace vapor barrier to seal it off from the outdoor weather conditions. Inside of the encapsulated crawl space, the crew installed our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to keep humidity in the space low and they installed our SuperSump Plus sump pump to send all of the collected water out of the space. For the structural issues, the crew installed our SmartJack Stabilizing system throughout the crawl space. SmartJacks are strong beams made of galvanized steel that add support to the home and can be adjusted to reverse any floor sloping that has already occurred. Now the homeowner feels much better about their home's crawl space!
