Crawl Space Encapsulation in Lakeville, MA

Challenge

This homeowner in Lakeville, MA gave us a call because they were looking to encapsulate the dirt floor crawl space beneath their home with a proper vapor barrier. They had previously had a vapor barrier installed by a different company but it quickly deteriorated. Our inspector, James, went to the home to take a look at the crawl space and drew up a plan to have it properly encapsulated.

Solution

On installation day, Foreman Riley and his crew arrived ready to properly encapsulate the crawl space. They first removed the old vapor barrier and any debris that was in the space, then they laid down our drainage matting over the dirt floor which allows any water to flow under and out rather than pooling inside. With the drainage matting in place, the crew was then able to fully encapsulate the crawl space with our CleanSpace Encapsulation System. CleanSpace is a very strong vapor barrier that completely seals off the space and doesn't deteriorate. Now the homeowner can feel confident in their encapsulation system!
