Crawl Space Waterproofing in Scituate, MA

Challenge

This homeowner in Scituate, MA gave us a call because they were dealing with a very wet crawl space beneath their home. They were not only looking to have the space waterproofed, but also insulated and encapsulated to regulate temperature and seal out any excess moisture. Our inspector, Nick, went out to the home to take a look at the crawl space and drew up a plan that would completely transform it.

Solution

On installation day, Foreman Lucio and his crew started waterproofing the space by installing our StarPipe drainage system along the perimeter of the crawl space floor. They also installed our SmartSump crawl space sump pump to send the collected water out of the space through the discharge line. The crew insulated the space with our SilverGlo wall insulation to regulate temperature year-round. Then they were able to fully encapsulate the space with our CleanSpace vapor barrier to seal out moisture. Now the homeowner no longer has to worry about the crawl space beneath their home!
