Crawl Space Waterproofing in Narragansett, RI
Challenge
This homeowner in Narragansett, RI knows our inspector, Benny, so when they realized that their crawl space was having water issues, they reached out to him. Benny went out to the home to take a look at the crawl space and he drew up a solution to waterproof and encapsulate it. Since the crawl space was relatively short and spanned a large area, our crew would have to be sure to work carefully and diligently throughout the space, but this is nothing they aren't used to!
Solution
On installation day, our foreman, Kervin, and his crew first removed all debris and then waterproofed the space by installing our StarPipe drainage system around the perimeter of the dirt floor and they also installed our SuperSump Plus sump pump to send all collected water out through a discharge line. Then they were able to fully encapsulate the space with our CleanSpace vapor barrier and they also installed our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to eliminate moisture. Now the homeowner no longer has to worry about water in their crawl space!
