Completely Transforming this Narragansett, RI Crawl Space
Challenge
New homeowners in Narragansett, RI reached out to us looking for solutions for the crawl space beneath their new home. After having an inspection done, it was found that the wooden beams throughout the crawl space had rotted and weakened over time, which puts the structural integrity of the above in jeopardy. Our sales inspector, David, went out to the home and did a thorough assessment of the crawl space, then he drew up a well-rounded solution and shared it with the new homeowners.
Solution
On installation day, our foreman, Kervin, and his crew cleaned up the crawl space and then installed our SmartJack Stabilizing System throughout it. They reinforced support in the crawl space with our supplemental beams and SmartJack stabilizers, which are made of galvanized steel so they won't deteriorate over time like wood. The crew also insulated the space with our SilverGlo wall insulation and encapsulated it with our CleanSpace vapor barrier. Now the homeowners no longer have to worry about their crawl space and can enjoy their new home!
