Waterproofing a Crawl Space in Nantucket, MA
Challenge
A property manager in Nantucket, MA gave us another call after working with us in the past on a different property. This home that they were calling about had a damp, dirty crawl space and since the home's utilities were located in the space, it was really important that they stayed protected from water damage. Our inspector, Steve, went out to the property and drew up a full waterproofing and encapsulation solution for the home's crawl space.
Solution
On installation day, our foreman, Riley, and his crew installed our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier and TripleSafe sump pump in the space. The SaniDry Sedona controls humidity and drains itself into the TripleSafe which sends all of the collected water out of the crawl space. The crew also insulated the space with our SilverGlo wall insulation to regulate temperature year round. Then they fully encapsulated it with our CleanSpace vapor barrier to seal it off from the outside earth. Now the homeowner won't have to worry about their home's utilities being in jeopardy due to water seepage.
