Total Crawl Space Transformation in South Yarmouth, MA
Challenge
This homeowner in South Yarmouth, MA reached out to us with a few different concerns regarding their home's crawl space. It had an exposed dirt floor, was uninsulated, and had structural issues due to the wooden beams in the space weakening over time. Our inspector, Trevor, went out to the home to do a full assessment of the space, then he drew up a well-rounded solution that would address each of the homeowner's concerns.
Solution
On installation day, our foreman, Damien, and his crew insulated the space with our SilverGlo wall insulation, which will regulate temperature efficiently. Then they fully encapsulated the space with our CleanSpace vapor barrier to seal it off from the outside earth. To address the structural issues, the crew installed our SmartJack stabilizing system throughout the space, which are strong beams made of galvanized steel. SmartJacks add immediate support to the space and won't weaken over time. Now the homeowner no longer has to worry about the crawl space beneath their home!
