Their new home needed to have the crawl space reinsulated as well as encapsulated, and they knew we were perfect for the job! Our inspector, Josh, went out to the home to assess the crawl space and he drew up a well-rounded solution for it. On installation day, our foreman, Damien, and his crew first removed the debris and old fiberglass insulation that was in the space. They laid down drainage matting over the dirt floor of the crawl space to allow any water to flow under and out instead of pool inside. Then they reinsulated the space with our SilverGlo wall insulation to regulate temperature and it won't deteriorate over time like the fiberglass did. The crew then fully encapsulated the crawl space with our CleanSpace vapor barrier and installed our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to keep humidity under control year-round. Now the homeowner doesn't have to worry about the crawl space beneath their new home!
