Under this Middleboro, MA home was a basement with two crawl spaces on either side. The whole space had a history of moisture and humidity so when our team waterproofed the basement, they also encapsulated the two crawls. The encapsulation process consisted of wrapping the two spaces in CleanSpace vapor barrier to seal off the moisture from the damp soil. To capture the humidity in the air, they installed a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier that would benefit not just the crawl spaces, but also the basement, by absorbing water vapors. The team then added SmartJacks to support the existing structural components of the basement and crawl spaces, securing these spaces from moisture and potential support failure.
