Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Fairhaven, MA Crawl Space Waterproofing

A homeowner in Fairhaven, MA gave us a call about their crawl space that needed new insulation and they were interested in encapsulation. When our inspector, Nick, arrived at the house for the free estimate appointment, he examined the crawl space and also noticed signs of water and structural damage. Nick drew up a solution for the crawl space that would include new insulation, encapsulation, and waterproofing. On installation day, Foreman Julius and his crew arrived at the home ready to repair the crawl space! They started by removing the existing fiberglass insulation that was deteriorating along with any other debris in the space. Once the crawl space was clear, the crew installed our SilverGlo insulation along the walls which will regulate temperature and won't deteriorate over time. They fully encapsulated the space with our CleanSpace vapor barrier. To handle the water/moisture issues, the crew installed our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier and our SmartSump crawl space sump pump. The SaniDry Sedona controls humidity and drains itself into the SmartSump which sends all of the water that tries to enter the crawl space out through a discharge line. For the structural issues, our crew installed our SmartJack Stabilizers throughout the space to reinforce the structural integrity as well as reverse the sloping that has already occurred in the floors above. Finally, the crew installed our EverLast Door over the crawl space entrance to further protect it from weather and keep out critters. After the work was done, the homeowner felt relieved knowing their crawl space was in great shape thanks to DryZone!
