This crawlspace in South Yarmouth, MA needed help and fast when it came to the supports inside the crawlspace. The homeowners were concerned about the structure of their home above, and contacted DryZone for assistance with eliminating the issues that caused this kind of damage, and help in supporting their home for years to come. Our inspector, Steve, who has been with the company since its inception, is a great wealth of knowledge and the perfect fit for helping these homeowners determine the best course of action. DryZone installed multiple SmartJack supports throughout the crawlspace, and installed steel beams to help strengthen the main structure of the home. Our team, led by foreman Carlos, installed CleanSpace throughout, to help protect against moisture, dampness, and water intrusion in the future. And finally, a SaniDry Sedona and condensate pump were installed to maintain relative humidity inside the crawlspace. This space is well protected for decades to come thanks to the team at DryZone Basement Systems!
This homeowner in South Yarmouth, MA was looking to improve the conditions of their crawl space by adding more support to their home's foundation. When our inspector, Steve, went out to take a look during the free estimate, he explained that we could definitely help with adding support to the foundation of the home, but there was even more we could do for the crawl space to improve it. Steve explained how the air inside of the crawl space enters the home because of the stack effect, which is the natural movement of air within a building due to temperature differences. This crawl space had a dirt floor and was heavily impacted by outside conditions like rain and temperature. The homeowner recognized the importance of having a healthy crawl space because it creates a healthy home. On installation day, our foreman Carlos and his crew added support to the foundation with our SmartJacks, which are strong beams made of galvanized steel that support and even readjust floors if needed. They also encapsulated the space with our CleanSpace vapor barrier and installed our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to control the humidity in the air. Now the homeowner can feel confident that not only their crawl space is in great shape, their home is too!

After clearing out this crawl, we used our CleanSpace vapor barrier to encapsulate the space and seal any moisture out.
