This crawl space in Charlestown, RI was in shady condition. The humidity was relatively high, some of the wood had mold growth and the air gave off a strange smell. To make this space cleaner and usable, our production team installed SilverGlo wall insulation to keep the area at a constant temperature all year long. Then we encapsulated the floor with CleanSpace vapor barrier, our durable white liner that prevents moisture seeping in. Now, the air quality has improved and the humidity is lower than it has ever been!
This homeowner in Charlestown, MA had an existing drainage system on the outside of their home that was installed by another company but it was starting to cause water to seep into their home. Our inspector, Benny, went to take a look at how we could help and he shared a solution with the homeowner. On installation day, our foreman, Kervin, and his crew got to work with making the solution become a reality. The crew lined the walls with our CleanSpace vapor barrier to seal out the water that tries to enter through the walls. They also installed our SuperSump Plus sump to push out any excess water that tries to enter the home. Now the homeowner doesn't have to worry about water getting into their home with our products installed and ready to work!
This stone foundation was leaking every time it would rain heavily in Coventry, RI. A partial WaterGuard system was installed so the homeowner could monitor the problem. We installed CleanSpace on the walls, tucking behind the WaterGuard. CleanSpace is a vapor barrier that would direct any water seeping from the walls into the underground drainage system and into the SuperSump on the other side of the basement.
The air in the crawlspace affects the air quality in your entire home. This home owner in Conventry, RI was having a hard time breathing and her long time friend and contractor recommended she have the crawlspace checked out by DryZone Basement Systems.
The 20 mil vapor barrier we use is called CleanSpace. We wrap all of the concrete in the crawlspace with it to prevent moisture from evaporating through the porous walls
