This unfinished basement in Braintree, MA was not in the best shape. There were clear signs of mold growth on some of the wooden material and the humidity was higher than usual. As a waterproofing company, we understand how moisture can really damage one's home, so we knew to apply our CleanSpace wall vapor barrier onto the walls in order to prevent any moisture from entering the basement. At the end of the job, we also installed a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier for additional help to lower the relative humidity!
This John in Acushnet, MA had a neighbor that had reached out to us for some help with a wall crack that we sealed and he was now suffering from the same thing. The neighbor was so happy with the results, they had to share the knowledge and suggested John call us too! In his basement we cleaned the crack and then used our FlexiSpan system to seal it and covered it with CleanSpace to seal it even more and create a clean look.
In Quincy, MA this homeowner was dealing with water in one specific corner in the basement. Although we always recommend a full perimeter, they only ever got water in this spot so we offered to treat just that area. With the stone foundation, our inspector recommended to cover it with our CleanSpace vapor barrier and install Waterguard and a SuperSump Plus system in that space to take care of water seeping through.
Just because you are getting water in a part of the basement that may be obstructed does not mean you have to deal with a wet basement! Our system design specialists and foreman can get creative using our many patented products to work out a solution that is custom designed for your basement!
In this basement in East Bridgewater, MA there were cracks in the wall that were letting water leak in and causing issues for the homeowner. For wall cracks, we use our FlexiSpan system, a warrantied wall crack repair system where we clean up the crack opening and seal it with a polyurethane polymer and then seal it again with a draining sealant. With the draining sealant, in the slim chance your crack leaks, any water that comes through will get caught in the system and brought down to drain, keeping it off the basement floors. Then we like to put a layer of our Cleanspace over it to seal it and make it look nice.
