A homeowner in South Dartmouth, MA reached out to us because they were looking into vapor barrier options for their crawl space. James, our inspector, went to the home to assess the crawl space and drew up a plan to have it encapsulated with our CleanSpace system. Foreman Carlos and his crew got to work on installation day! They started by removing the old insulation and debris that was in the space. Then they laid down the drainage matting over the dirt floor of the crawl space to allow water to flow under and out instead of pooling inside. The crew then fully encapsulated the crawl space with our CleanSpace vapor barrier which is a strong plastic that seals off the space from being impacted by outside conditions. They also set up our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to keep humidity in the crawl space low. The homeowner now feels so much better about their crawl space thanks to DryZone!
A homeowner in Rockland, MA had a sump pump and French drain system that both failed after the recent heavy rain storm we got. Our inspector, David, went to the home and drew up a plan to install a much more reliable waterproofing system with DryZone's products. On installation day, Foreman Lucio and his crew got to work! They removed the existing sump pump and filled in the hole where it was with fresh concrete. David and Lucio both confirmed that a more effective location for the sump pump would be closer to the back of the house near the bulkhead door, since that's where the water issues were. The crew installed our WaterGuard drainage system along the floor's perimeter and around the oil tank to protect it from water damage. In front of the bulkhead door, they put our TrenchDrain grated basement drain to collect surface water. The WaterGuard and TrenchDrain are connected and drain into the TripleSafe sump pump which sends all that water out of the home. On the outside of the home, the crew set up our IceGuard discharge line system to prevent flooding from a clogged or frozen discharge line. The homeowner is now much more confident in their basement's waterproofing system!
A homeowner in New Bedford was worried that the water leaking into her foundation could ruin the basement. The dampness and puddles of water had to go, so she gave us a call for help. After a complete inspection, a production crew was able to install a TripleSafe sump pump to discharge the water along with a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. To top it off, the walls were line up with CleanSpace wall vapor barrier to keep the moisture out!
This unfinished basement in New Bedford, MA needed some help in order to stay dry and protected from heavy rains, water intrusion and moisture. Though they did have an existing sump pump at the time, it wasn't keeping up with the constant New England rain storms & melting snow. They needed a system they could depend on, something more effective - in comes DryZone! By installing a TripleSafe sump pump system, a SaniDry Sedona, our patented WaterGuard french drain system, and our CleanSpace Wall vapor barrier system - this basement will be well protected and stay dry in any rain storm, even in the event of a power outage!
In New Bedford, MA the old system just wasn’t cutting it in this basement and needed some improvements made for the upcoming rainy season. After taking a look at what was happening in the basement, we made a plan that would collect water and send it back out. We know that if water wants to get in your basement, it will, so the best way to keep the space dry is to take it out as soon as it gets in the space. Along with Waterguard and a TripleSafe sump system, the TrenchDrain works perfectly to catch the water seeping in and start it on the journey out.
