Wakefield, RI Crawl Space Repair

This homeowner in Wakefield, RI reached out to us because the crawl space beneath their home was damp, uninsulated, and in need of structural help. Our inspector, Steve, went out to the home to look at the space and he drew up a solution that would address each issue. On installation day, Foreman Lucio and his crew first removed all debris from the space and installed a couple of our SmartJack stabilizers to reinforce support. They laid down drainage matting over the dirt floor of the crawl space to allow any water to flow under and out of the space. Then they insulated the space with our SilverGlo wall insulation and TerraBlock floor insulation which regulate temperature and neither will deteriorate over time. The crew fully encapsulated the crawl space with our CleanSpace vapor barrier to completely seal out moisture. Now the homeowner can rest easy knowing their crawl space is safe from moisture, insulated, and structurally sound!
