Musty Crawlspace in Yarmouth, MA

When the owners of this Yarmouth, MA home started noticing a strong musty smell from their crawlspace, worry about mold going and deteriorating their home began to set in. Not wanting to risk anything damaging their home, the owners called DryZone for a free estimate and hear more about what the solutions are for their space. Our inspector explained to them how we can encapsulate the crawlspace with a CleanSpace vapor barrier which would protect the inside from any moisture from finding its way in from the walls or ground. To assist the barrier, a SaniDry dehumidifier can be added to combat any moisture in the air and would be self-draining. The owners agreed with the solution and we’re thrilled with the results after the insulation and eliminating their previous worries of mold taking over their home.
